Yes, this is me. A grinning fool. I grew up in North East England; Newcastle upon Tyne to be exact. I struggled at school but found I had to get stuck in afterwards, working my way up the exam chain eventually earning an MSc from Leicester University.

I started writing at an early age and still have the small book I started with many years ago. I have trouble with all the technical aspects of writing, thankfully, I write for fun. If the words are on the page and I like the look of them I generally leave them alone.

I studied at the Defence Intelligence and Security School in Chicksands to qualify as an Intelligence Operator. A good looking fellow; my colleagues all took to wearing bags on their heads. As you can see from the photo, as well as learning to carry a boomstick with a pointy end I also learned to balance a WW2 fighter on my shoulders.

Later on I qualified as a Criminal Intelligence Analyst.

I was the Security Analyst at Heathrow Airport. Despite me saying that I'd flown a glider they wouldn't let me take Concorde up.

I live in Newcastle upon Tyne with my Wife Jo-anna and my two children Alisha and Errin.
